Cheney Bostic, AICP, LEED AP
Cheney is the Principal and Founder of Studio Seed. With formal training as an architect, Cheney brings a unique skill set to the field of urban design and planning. She offers realistic planning solutions that are action-oriented, implementable and designed to code. Her passion lies in urban infill projects that respond to an existing context, corridor projects that seek to transform over time, and transit-oriented development projects that add value to underutilized land. An overarching goal in all of Cheney’s projects is a desire to increase quality of life for residents and inspire action.
Cheney is a member of the American Institute of Certified Planners and a LEED Accredited Professional. She serves on the Urban Design Advisory Council for the University of Colorado. She served for nine years as the Vice President of the Congress for the New Urbanism - Colorado Chapter and co-authored the book Colorado Urbanizing in 2009. Cheney is a regular speaker at local APA chapter conferences.
Aside from professional work, Cheney has two sons who keep her busy. On the weekends, you can find her hiking, snowboarding, wake surfing, or enjoying live music!
